Our Story
200 years ago Boiling Springs was settled by people in the iron industry.
A large stone furnace remains as a testimony to those by-gone days.
During the 1800s and early 1900s
carriages brought families here from nearby cities and towns to picnic and
swim in the lake.

Our tavern was built around 1832 in the Federal style and originally was
used as a hotel. Anheuser-Busch was its first owner.

Today we are Boiling Springs Tavern, a restaurant and bar serving the
discriminating tastes of Central Pennsylvanians and we have a table set for
you.
